Though individuals in Fresno County have been active in the Peace and Freedom Party since its formation, it is unknown if there was any formal organization here prior to that date.

Posted November 15th, 2007 by crockfordThere are six political parties in the State of California. We have the Republican Party and Democratic Party and four 'other' parties - the Green Party, the Libertarian Party, the American Independent Party, and the Peace and Freedom Party.
For voters affiliated with California's four lesser known political parties and for the fast growing population of voters who choose to remain unaffiliated with any political party and consider themselves 'independents', 2008 is generating a lot of excitement and interest.

Ernesto "Che" Guevara: June 14, 1928 - October 9, 1967
Posted October 4th, 2007 by crockfordErnesto Guevara de la Serna (affectionately known as "Che") was born on the 14th day of June, 1928. He was a Marxist/Socialist Revolutionary who fought first with Fidel Castro in Cuba and then in Africa and Bolivia. Che was captured in a military operation supported by the CIA and the U.S. Army Special Forces. The next day, the 9th of October, 1967, Che was summarily executed by the Bolivian Army. He was 39 years old.
