Defective Windshield Wipers
When it comes to safety on the roadway, it is important that all components of your automobile are working properly. While air conditioning systems and radio systems may not affect your car's performance on the road, other essential parts like the brake system, tires, drive train, and windshield wipers may have a huge impact on your safety.
Defective products cause many accidents and injuries to U.S. drivers each year. People who suffer injury may be eligible for compensation for their pain and suffering, especially if the accident was the direct result of a defective product. Manufacturers are responsible for providing safe and effective products to consumers and should not be negligent in the design and construction of their products.
Defective windshield wipers are a serious concern for drivers, especially since they are the first (and often times only) method of providing visibility for drivers in rain and snow. Without proper visibility accidents are likely to occur, and may have serious consequences for drivers, passengers, and other individuals on the road.
Potential Windshield Wiper Defects
Typically, windshield wiper systems consist of three basic components. The arm, the blade, and the wiping mechanism all have the potential for failure, often causing incorrect function of the mechanism overall. Defects often include:
• Motor defects that fail to move the wiper arm
• Manufacturing defects that cause arm failure, breakage, and disconnected joints
• Wiper defects including wiper failure, wiper loss, and failure to properly clear the windshield of water, snow, and other debris
• Defective design resulting in inadequate windshield coverage
• Design defects that result in inadequate water disbursement
• Defects that cause damage to the car's windshield
Manufacturers should carefully design and test their products to ensure their safety before releasing the product for consumer use. If injuries result due to negligence on the part of the manufacturer, the injured parties may file defective product lawsuits against the manufacturer for compensation.
Many companies choose to enact voluntary recalls of defective products if they discover defects or flaws with the product. Consumers should be aware of any recalls that arise regarding products they currently own and should follow manufacturer's advice when dealing with a recalled product.

That is really very
That is really very significant information especially who own a car. It’s good that this advises are kept in order to ensure safety and avoid accidents to occur because of these unreliable and defective stuffs. On the other hand, one important issue that is raised up in today’s economic crisis,Unemployment increases in recessions – that's always a given – but in most recessions the rate of unemployment rises only temporarily. One of the metrics for finding out if unemployment is reducing is the number of people filing for unemployment benefits.
